Due to a variety of events in our lives as well as many P.A.R. For Kids' Sake committee members, we will be taking a hiatus this year and will not be having the tournament. We are saddened by this but feel it is the right decision to make. We will come back strong in 2008 and it will be our best P.A.R. For Kids' Sake event yet. So mark your calendars for June 9th, 2008!

It is still our utmost priority to find the causes and a cure for Autism and to bring additional awareness to this devastating disability. The newest statistic now is that 1 in 150 children will be diagnosed as autistic, up from 1 in 166 just last year. We have just experienced Autism Awareness Month in April, so please consider supporting the fight against autism in one of the following ways:

• You can  make a credit card donation online
• Mail a check made out to P.A.R. For Kids' Sake to PAR 4 Kids’ Sake c/o John Matthias, 180 Valleywood Way, Roseville, CA 95678
• Register and join the P.A.R. 4 Kids' Sake Team at the upcoming  Walk Now for Autism on Saturday June 9^th at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds.

Cure Autism Now(CAN) is the sponsor of the Walk Now for Autism event in Pleasanton. P.A.R.  4 Kids’ Sake has established a team that that you can join.CAN merged with Autism Speaks to create the largest autism focused non-profit organization in the world whose sole purpose is the same as P.A.R. 4 Kids’ Sake and The UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute: find a cause and a cure for autism. CAN has donated some of their proceeds in the past to The M.I.N.D. Institute. This walk-a-thon event is family oriented and we encourage you to join our team.  Our goal is to have at least 50 teammates and to raise $25,000!Proceeds from the walk will go to CAN. One hundred percent of the online and check donations to P.A.R. 4 Kids’ Sake will go to the world renowned U.C. Davis M.I.N.D. Institute .
